Biography
Clyde E. Byrd was born in Cass County, Cass, Michigan, on 20 Feb 1891 to Abner Richardson Byrd (1843 - 1921) and Eva Ophelia Byrd (nee Lawson) (1866 - 1913). He was later a farmer from southwestern Michigan. He married Essa Gladys Leach from Ohio and had five children with her including Weldon Bernard Byrd (1918-2001), Vivian Jean Byrd (1929-1973), Malcolm O. Byrd (1922-1999), Norma Clydene Byrd (1920-2007), and Alma Renelda Byrd (1915-2009).
