McGlynn, Paul D.

 Person

Biography

Paul D. McGlynn was born and raised in Detroit and now lives in Florida. Though he is a retired professor of literature and creative writing, he is not an academic poet. His major influences have been the works of William Blake, Allen Ginsberg, and Wallace Stevens, plus art, travel, and love—not necessarily in that order. The gritty streets of Detroit played a part as well. His work can be found here.

His poems have also been published in Parting Gifts, a project of March Street Press.
