Biography
Jay Griswold was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has traveled extensively throughout the world. He has a MA in Creative Writing from Colorado State University, and currently resides in Ft. Myers, Florida.
He is the author of three award-winning collections of poetry, Meditations For the Year of the Horse, The Landscape of Exile, and Conquistador (Main Street Rag Book Award, 2004).
His poems were also published in the Parting Gifts magazine, a project of March Street Press.

The collection is housed in 136 boxes (the first 135 labeled by Bixby himself) which document the creative output of March Street Press between 1992 until 2009. The bulk of the collection contains correspondence between the editor (Robert J. Bixby) and authors, manuscripts, proofs, copyright documents, photographs, cover art and ephemera. It also contains a complete run of the magazine, Parting Gifts, as well as copy of each book published by the press.
