Biography
This Post may have been named to honor Josiah Wadsworth of Saginaw. He enlisted as Teamster in Company D, 16th Michigan Infantry on August 1, 1862, at the age of 22. The Post was Mustered with 11 Charter Members. The Post first met at Grange Hall on St. Joseph Street. By 1889 they were meeting in G.A.R. Hallon Paw Paw Street. In 1906 the meeting place is listed as Webster Hall, back to G.A.R. Hall in late 1906 and then to Grange Hall in 1907. The December 1919 Report puts them back at G.A.R. Hall. The Post was disbanded in June 1929.
