This series includes transcripts of speeches given by E. Gifford Upjohn from 1954-1970. E. Gifford Upjohn was President and CEO of the Upjohn Company from 1953-1961 and then was elected Chairman of the Board in 1962 and remained chairman until 1969 when he retired. Even though he retired as chairman, E. Gifford Upjohn stayed on the board of directors until 1978, so take this into account for his most recent speeches.
