The collection includes 100 sheets of drawings made by U. Yadamsuren during his travels across the Mongolian country in the nineteen-fifties. The drawings include traditional summer and winter costumes and accessories from the following Mongolian national groups: Khalka, Buryat, Dorbet, Torgut, Barga, Dariganga, Uzumchin, Bayit, Uryankhaits, Khoton, and Mingat. Included with the set of drawings is a 24 page pamphlet which describes the customes and the history behind the different styles.

Khalkha man's winter cap "Godon" is a orange cap with a point top with a small knot. Orange string and a pink ribbon hangs from the cap. Fur on this cap does not go all the way around the cap and lifts up off the top of the cap. There is a dimaond quilted pattern in the bottom of the cap.

Khalkha man's winter cap "Tug"is a light orange cap with pink ribbon hanging off it. The top of the cap is flat and the fur on the cap does not wrap all the way around the cap.

Khalkha winter cap "Makhus" is a yellow cap with red and blue trim. Flaps of the cap are tied back with string revealing fur inside the flaps.

Khalkha winter cap of beaver fur is a red cap base with a point with a yellow knot on top decorated with gold paint. Beaver fur along the outside of the cap.

Khalkha winter cap "Orlö Mus" is black with gold and flower decorations. Fur is on the top and sides of the outside of the cap. Cap includes an extra flap hanging from its base.
