Scope and Contents

This collection is comprised of materials relating to organist Frank E. (“Bud”) Taylor (1913 – 1997) and the State Theater of Kalamazoo. The materials cover a timespan from the mid 1930’s to the early 1980’s.

Abstract

Personal papers of twentieth century American poet John Woods, including drafts of individual poems and book manuscripts, research materials, academic career files, photographs, cassette tape recordings. Also associated with this collection are 987 books from the poet's personal library, many inscribed by the authors (the books are cataloged separately and searchable through the WMU Libraries online catalog)

Scope and Contents The collection is composed of one scrapbook, two DVDs, and one folder of documents relating to the Kalamazoo Downstreamers Canoe Club, 1973-2008.The scrapbook is filled with photos, handwritten descriptions, newspaper clippings, a poem, and a brochure. Scope and Contents This collection consists of one scrapbook created by Merrill R. Wiseman (1896-1966), who spent time in the Pacific theater during World War II. The scrapbook contains photos and memorabilia obtained by Merrill R. Wiseman during his time in Manila, Philippines.The photographs cover a wide variety of topics, based on content the photos were mostly likely taken near the end of World War Two. Scope and Contents

This collection is composed of a scrapbook of Robert Tefler in his senior year of high school at Richland High School in 1938. The scrapebook contains loose material like newspaper clippings of basketball box scores as Robert played basketball for Richland High School, black and white photographs of Robert Tefler, and autographs from other classmates.
