The collection amounts to 1.50 cubic feet and is composed of materials from the Kalamazoo Valley Wood Carvers Guild. The KVWCG operated in Kalamazoo, Michigan beginning in 1984. The collection contains 13 folders measuring 8.5” x 14”. The folders are spread across 2 Hollinger boxes, one measuring 15” x 5” and the other 15” x 2.5”. The folders are primarily composed of documents measuring 11” x 8.5”. There is also a letter measuring 9” x 6”, maps measuring 8.5” x 5.5” and 14” x 8.5”, and postcards measuring 3.5” x 5”. The collection also contains receipts measuring 13” x 8.5”.

The contents of the collection are generally in good condition. There is some discoloration throughout the contents of the collection. Many documents have slight tears or creases. Some are stained. Some documents are folded, leaving creases. Most documents are printed on white paper with black ink. Some printed documents contain colored ink. Documents which are handwritten contain black or blue ink. Some documents in the collection are type-written with black ink.
