Scope and Contents

This collection contains real estate appraisals by Paul B. Ray of Plainwell, and publications such as county farm plat and atlas books and publications about plans for the future of U.S. Railroads.

Contains appraisals of properties in the path of highway relocation projects for U.S. 12 and U.S. 131, Consumers Power electric line projects, and other properties in and around Allegan and Kalamazoo Counties. These appraisals include what properties will be like before and after taking the property for the projects.

Also included after several publications on U.S. Railroads and plans for the future and newsletters for organizations that strive to save railroads.
