Physical Description
This collection contains many letters, notebooks, advertisements, pamphlets, receipts, checks and newspapers. There are a few photos which are included as well. The collection seems to be in good shape for the most part but there are a couple items which must be handled with care. The scrapbooks and school papers which are found in Box 5 need to be handled with care. The newspapers found in Box 8 are very fragile and must be handled with care to make sure that they do not suffer further damage. Another thing to note is that there are a lot of small piece involved with the financial records, thus it is important to handle with care and attention. Other than that the collection is in good condition.

See Donor File for three different finding aids that were put together by students in the Archives Management class, 2007 and 2011 for extensive information about the Haines family. This collection had been originally processed by two different groups in the Spring 2011 semester. It was merged together in the summer.
