The collection is composed of documents from the Westnedge Hill Neighborhood Association from 1988 to 2007. They have records of newsletters, membership information, historical events and board meeting minutes and many more.

Biographical / Historical
The Westnedge Hill Neighborhood Association created in 1988 existed as a physical organization with a Board of Directors, Committees and regular activities until 2007 when they went online and now have a Facebook page for the Association. The boundary of the neighborhood consists of Burdick Street to the east, Maple Street to the north, Bronson Boulevard to the west and White’s Road and Cork Street to the south. The association consisted of a leadership board and volunteers held board meetings and kept minutes. They also focused on issues like safety and security by creating a Neighborhood Watch and held activities like fall festivals and historic tours.

Physical Description
The collection amounts to 1.5 cubic feet. The majority of the documents are on white paper 8”x11” with some of the documents are on a heavier paper, some of the documents are on different color paper and some are on legal size documents. The majority of the documents were typed, there were some that were handwritten. Originally the collection came in binders and in no particular order and organized into categories that were similar and then placed into archive safe folders and sorted by year. The majority of the collection is in good condition with minimal tearing or fading. In total there was 3.0 cubic feet of duplicated material that was shredded.
