Language of Materials
The ledger is roughly 11.5" x 7.5" in size. The cover and binding is in rough condition. The corners of the spine have begun to peel up and the fabric covering the book has fade marks. There are places where the fabric covering has begun to pull up. The pages are yellowed and worn. Many of the entries written in pencil have smudged, making it slightly illegible. There are some dirt smudges throughout the ledger.
The Collection is made up of a ledger donated to the archives as part of the Dr. Larry Syndergaard Collection. The ledger dates from 1908-1909 and relates to Claude Robinson’s blacksmith business.
