Scope and Contents
This collection contains the 1929 guide book for the Kalamazoo Rabbit Breeders Association, a trade group organized by local rabbit breeders and aficionados in order to promote the healthy and efficacious breeding and maintenance of various rabbit breeds in Southwest Michigan. The guidebook briefly describes various rabbit breeds cultivated in the area, the most efficacious manner in which to breed and care for rabbits, and recipes for cooking rabbits or the amount and quality of different rabbit skins. The guidebook also contains the organizations constitution and by-laws, along with a list of active members and breeding specializations, along with a list of officers and executive members.
