Scope and Contents From the Collection: Pages from the Past leaf books were sold as six different collections with three different releases (18 total sets were sold in editions of varying numbers) between 1964-1966. These were all compiled and sold by the Washington DC-based dealer, Alfred W. Stites of Foliophiles, Inc., who had dismembered original printings and manuscripts specifically for the purpose of selling them in these "portfolio sets", as he referred to them. Scope and Contents

A leaf from a Scottish Law Book, entitled "Observations on the Acts of Parliament, made by King James I to King Charles II," by Sir George Mackenzie, His Majesty's Advocate for Scotland. It was printed in Edinburgh, 1686 by the heir of Andrew Anderson. The recto side of the page is marked 215, and the verso side is marked 216; though it may be noted that the '2' in 216 is upsidedown.
