A leaf from "The History of His Own Times", by Paulus Jovius, Bishop of Nocera. It was printed by Michael Vascosanus in Paris, 1553. Typographically it is an excellent example of the clear roman type developed by Parisian printers at that particular time. The recto side is marked as page 61; the verso side is unmarked.

A leaf from a Latin version of the Bible, printed at Paris in 1558 by the heirs of Carola Guillard, relict of Claude Chevallon. This version was edited by Johannes Benedictus. The marginal notes show where the Latin is different from the original Hebrew and Greek, and also gives a more literal interpretations of words and phrases. The recto side of the leaf is marked as page 249; the verso side is marked 350.
