Single leaf, typed with handwritten notes. Text is in English, but note in header states that it is a translation from the Latin original. The letter testifies to the quality of Rev. Joseph Turk as a priest and doctor of theology and philosophy. It also gives some biographical information regarding his flight from his native country in 1945. Certain lines are crossed out for revision.

Sender thanks the prelate for his evaulation of a manuscript and inquires as to his knowledge of a Colonel Vladimir Vauhnika, among other things. On the reverse side is the text of another letter, this one addressed to a Mr. Nande, and also a faded image of an envelope with Austrian stamps.
