(Including illuminated manuscripts of Cicero's De Senectute and other works (North-east Italy, ca. 1475-1500) and Petrarch's Trionfi (Florence, ca. 1450) in contemporary bindings; an illuminated manuscript containing unpublished documents relating to building restorations in Verona ca. 1505, in a contemporary Veronese binding; important Greek printing, including the first book printed entirely in Greek, Lascaris Erotemata (Milan: 1476), and editiones principes of the works of Aristotle Aldus: 1495-98) and of Plato (Aldus: 1513); rare editions of Italian literature, including Strambotti, a Lauretum, and a unique copy of La Bruna & la Blancha; the first edition of Geoffroy Tory's Champ Fleury (Paris: 1529); fine bindings by the Andreoli, Salvioni, and Vatican binding with inset miniatures of Pallas Athens and Justice under mica.)
