Judson A. Edmunds (1835-1906) was born on July 9 1835 in Chautauqua, New York. In 1850, Judson moved to Kalamazoo with his family. He married his first wife Janette Terrell (d. 1872) in 1856 with whom he would have 5 children, including their daughter Jeanette Edmunds Maile (b. 1868 d. 1964). In 1872, Janette died and Edmunds married Mary E. Rowe (b. 1832 d. 1914) in 1875. Judson died on May 7th 1906 in Schoolcraft, Michigan. Judson primarily worked as a farmer his whole life, though he served as a Justice of the Peace in Schoolcraft, Michigan for a short period of time.
