Biography
Joseph Lambert founded the Lambert Food Company, Battle Creek, Michigan in 1898. He worked with the Kellogg's Sanitarium to produce a peanut butter that could be ground and produced in larger quantities. By 1908 the company had become the Lambert Machine Company in Marshall, Michigan where it designed and built larger machines for grinding peanuts and other nut products.
