Biography
Eddie Powless was a campus bus driver at Western Michigan University between 1942-1975. Powless drove students from East Campus to West Campus as well as all student athletes to and from athletic events. Eddie’s Lane, perhaps the shortest street in Kalamazoo, linking Stadium Drive and Oakland Drive together, was named in his honor.
