Biography

The National Water Lift Company is a division of Pneumodynamics Corporation, a subsidiary of IC Industries in Chicago. The NWL was founded in 1909 by Roland Fairchild, who set out to design and build water lifts. The NWL designed and manufactured flight controls, engine controls, and thrust reverser systems for military and commercial aircrafts and controls for tactical and strategic missiles. They researched, developed, manufactured, and tested technology and were a major supplier of hydraulic, pneumatic, and hot gas control systems and components for aircrafts and missiles since 1951. They were located in Kalamazoo Michigan and had sales engineers located in other parts of the country. It is unknown if more brochures or publications were made, nor how long they were being published for if they had.
