Biography

The Kalamazoo Lions Club was a unit of The International Association of Lion’s Club that was founded in 1917. The Lions Club is a fraternal organization that aimed to participate in the community, primarily through funding programs that benefitted the community as a whole, like the Lions Trail, or certain groups such as publications in braille for the blind. The Kalamazoo Lions Club is no longer in existence, although Portage and Comstock both have Lions Clubs.
