Galesburg Parent-Teacher Association (Galesburg, Mich.)
The Galesburg Augusta Parent-Teacher Association Council was an active community group created during the consolidation of the separate cities school systems in 1951. The groups intention was to discuss current events together weekly for the betterment of the Galesburg-Augusta school system, their respective cities, Kalamazoo County, and local education thoughts and concerns from the years 1949 to 1957. Within their council, they had a sliding scale of 190-270 registered members from 1949 to 1957.
